My name is Atalie, and I photograph couples who—like me—have found their lover, best friend, and soulmate.
Weddings are momentous milestones, and I approach them with both heart and intention. As an Annapolis-based fine art wedding photographer, my goal is to truly get to know you—and for you to feel comfortable knowing me—so I can capture the real you. The quiet glances, the unscripted laughter, the meaningful in-between moments, and the beautiful idiosyncrasies that make your relationship uniquely yours.
I’ll admit, I was once someone who felt awkward in front of the camera (and occasionally still do). That experience has shaped how I photograph others. Over the years, I’ve learned how to create a relaxed, natural environment where you can simply be yourselves. My goal is simple: to document you as you truly are—fully present, deeply connected, and beaming with the joy of being in love.
I earned my BFA in Photojournalism from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, D.C., and have spent the past 14 years honing my craft. This includes nearly a decade working as a photojournalist at The Capital Gazette in Annapolis, where I learned to anticipate moments, tell honest stories, and document life as it unfolds—skills that deeply inform the way I photograph weddings today.
Clients often describe me as easygoing, friendly, kind, sincere, and professional. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me with my three kids, our dog Bertie and bunny Cinnabun, enjoying peanut-butter-anything, admiring flowers of all kinds, and (usually) beating my husband at Jeopardy—sorry, not sorry.
